Siding Tear-off Technician

Reporting to: Construction Field Supervisor - Siding
Status: Full-time/Non-exempt
Department: Siding
Location: Baldwin, WI
Transportation: Company Vehicle & Gas Provided

Essential Functions & Duties:

Responsible for removal of all existing siding according to job specifications.
Inspection and repairing visible problems.
Wrap and prepare house for installation of siding material.
Cleaning property of all siding debris and proper disposal.
Communicate with Supervisor on questions and scheduling issues.
Follow all safety rules and regulations that pertain to the job.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good, safe working order.
Keep company-provided vehicle properly maintained and clean.

Qualifications Required:

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in carpentry/finish trade.
Working knowledge of power tools and equipment.
Valid state issued driver’s license & clean driving record.

Manual Skills:

Physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving of your whole body to handle, install, position, manipulate material and erect scaffolding (80% physical labor/20% driving and sitting).
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and 100 pounds occasionally.
Ability to safely, legally and consistently operate an automobile for traveling.
